In 1979, Late Shri Vishnu Dutt Agarwal walked into the narrow lanes of Aminabad, Lucknow — with little more than determination and an honest name. He started small. A humble copy manufacturing and newsprint paper shop called Haryana Stationers. Day by day, customer by customer.
What he built over the next four decades wasn't just a business. It was a reputation — that when you come to Hariyana Paper Centre, you get the right paper, at the right price, without compromise. Today, 45 years later, his legacy lives on — carried forward by his family across three generations, two locations, and a growing network of clients from Lucknow to across India.
Our Journey
The Beginning — A Shop, A Dream
Aminabad in 1979 already had paper traders. But it had room for one more honest man. Late Shri Vishnu Dutt Agarwal, with Smt. Vimla Agarwal as proprietor, opened Haryana Stationers — a modest paper establishment. They started with copy paper manufacturing and newsprint paper trading. No grand plan. Only hard work, fair dealing, and the belief that if you serve people well, they come back. And they did.
Building Bridges with the Mills
After a decade of earning trust, the business entered its next chapter — direct mill partnerships. The Agarwals day by day built relationships with Sikka Paper Mill (Shamli), Maruti Paper Mill (Shamli), Silvertone Paper (Muzaffarnagar), Balaji Paper Mill (Muzaffarnagar), Multiwal Paper (Kashipur), and Bajaj Paper (Unnao). Not just dealer purchases — direct mill handshakes built on years of consistent orders and personal relationships.
Second Generation — Sumit Agarwal
In 1998, Sumit Agarwal stepped in and rebranded the business as Hariyana Paper Centre. He became stockist for India's leading brands: JK Papers, Naini Paper, Sirpur, Shreyans, Raina, Khanna, Bindal, Hi Kote Art Paper, Golden Coin, Ningboo SBS, Nevia Art Card, ITC DigiArt, Gumming Sheets and Fluorescent Paper. From 6 mill partnerships to a full premium catalog — Hariyana Paper Centre became the go-to name across Lucknow.
Third Generation — Shaurya Agarwal
In 2022, Shaurya Agarwal joined operations, bringing digital thinking to a 43-year-old business. While mill relationships stayed personal and direct, the vision expanded — from serving Lucknow to serving Uttar Pradesh, and beyond. The legacy of his grandfather's honesty and father's hustle became the foundation for a modern B2B paper supply business ready for the digital age.
The Second Location — Mahanagar
With growing demand, one location wasn't enough. In 2023, a second office opened at C-1081, Sector A, Mahanagar, Lucknow — doubling warehouse capacity and enabling faster delivery across the city. Two addresses. One name. The same promise.
